Cottage Country

For this part of our trip, we had three days between other things we were doing. We had heard that Algonquin was wonderful but when we investigated, it was very expensive and further from Toronto than we wanted, so we decided to go to the part of Ontario that’s called cottage country, since many people have holiday cabins here. There were also a couple of interesting parks in the area.

The place we decided on looked good, but it was much better in real life. We had a lot of trouble finding it, as the address was about as good as hieroglyphics, and the GPS didn’t recognise it. The leaves were all turning, and the cabin we chose was on the small lake. It was an absolutely adorable spot to relax for a couple of days.

It even had moss.
