Scott Inlet and Silim Island

Today was foggy and we went down this amazing fjord. I think this is the best view I got. Most of the time it was fog. Occasionally bits at the top appeared. Or the bottom. The sheer walls were amazing and incredibly high.

We reached Silim Island at lunchtime, and it was still very foggy. This picture was taken after we came back. The fog never fully cleared. There should be craggy peaks behind it.

As you can see, it’s rather steep, and the ground is bog and stones with lots of vegetation.

On the way, an Arctic hare was sitting peacefully. It was still there on the way back.

More scenery on the way.

I made it to the cairn at the top. My first Arctic peak!
