Yesterday was my last day in Christmas Island and on the Indian Ocean Territories. I decided to visit Ethel Beach. It was high tide, so there wasn’t much beach.
It’s typical for Christmas Island, white sand, fringed by verdant jungle, coral within a few metres with wonderful snorkelling.
As I flew out, I saw a bit of the coast - quintessential Christmas Island!
