Goodbye North Shore

I continued on along Highway 138 for a little, but there were roadworks and rain, so I didn’t get far before I had to turn back. You can see Baie-Comeau from the road at the other side of the bay - there are two cruise ships, the ferry and the paper mill visible from the distance.

I found a village with a beach.

And, there were a couple of other places I could stop on the way.

In the town, everyone is getting ready for Thanksgiving on the weekend.

Now I’m crossing the St. Lawrence, so I won’t be seeing the north shore again.
