There are many gorges in Quebec, but the most beautiful is said to be Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie. To get to it, you go through the mountains, along a gorge, and past several lakes complete wih a village each. Once at the Parc, you drive down the gorge for another twenty one kilometres before reaching the second car park. You can do as I did, and walk across the bridge and up to a lookout.
You can also walk eight kilometres up the gorge, seeing several waterfalls on the way. Or maybe you can take a boat instead.
And then, when you come back you can climb the path on the other side, to have a view of the bridge and the visitors centre.
