Lazy Day in Yellowknife

We decided to walk the whole Lake Frame trail (in the opposite direction to what we’d done on the first day when we’d only had time for part of it), which was a bit of a mistake since there were an incredible number of mosquitoes on the first half. We were just about to turn around and go back when we met a Canadian who told us that we had reached the end of the buggy part. The rest of the trail was much better. However, the first part was really nice because it was quite forested.

Early in the trail was the Legislative Assembly building, which is in the shape of an arbour, like they have in each village.

The lake has many views over Yellowknife.

And the room I had has views over the lake.
