Train

Canadian trains are notoriously late. Ours started over an hour late last night because it had arrived five hours late from the opposite direction, and the driver needed a break. I took a couple of photos of the train - one from each end. The last carriage is the park car which has several areas for socialising including a domed upstairs area.

It’s quite a good way to see the boreal forest

And the rivers

One of our early stops was Ilford.

Thompson is a major centre in northern Manitoba. Most passengers disembarked here.

It rained most of the day, but the train was nice and comfortable.
