White Water in the Arctic

Today we had a wonderful time driving to the Sylvia Grinnell Territorial Park, walking for a while

and then paddling canoes down the Sylvia Grinnell River back to where our car was parked.

It was absolutely fantastic. The rapids were small, the lunch provided was nice, the scenery was beautiful, and the sun was shining. And there were lots of wild blueberries, and even some early wild cranberries.
