Today I went around some of the East Fjords, to the place where Petra lived and collected the most stones in any private collection. I then went inland toEgilsstadir which is at one end of a very long narrow lake, which even has its own sea monster. I travelled along the lake to the arboretum, the largest forest in Iceland (although it's not very big). Then I visited the ruins of a monetary, and the home of the Author Gunnar Gunnarsson. He had the tree stumps next to his house carved with lamb ear brands.
