To the East

Today I didn't do much. I visited a glacier, stopped at Hofn for lunch, and ended up in Djupivogur. It rained all night and all this morning, but although I thought I was finished with the icecap there were at least four glaciers at Hofn. They have an interesting exhibit of the solar system to scale that you can do as a 2.8km walk.  The view from the camp site overlooks fishing harbour, and they have some very strange looking cabins in the back. They have an exhibit of 34 eggs in different shapes and colours. On the way, I was amazed by the erosion - I guess the volcano debris can be very unstable.
