The causeway to Cape Breton Island is over a very deep trench, and the only reason it was made is that the stone comes from a cliff right next to the causeway. From Cape Breton Island you can see both clearly.
After a few wrong turns, I found Hopewell Rocks, and visited it twice - once when the tide was full.
The Bay of Fundy is rather nice when it has some water.
